Tips for the Reading & Writing Test

  • Practice reading the questions aloud to improve pronunciation.
  • For the writing portion, focus on spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.
  • During the actual test, you must read one out of three sentences correctly to pass the reading test.
  • You must write one out of three sentences correctly to pass the writing test.
  • The officer will read each sentence only once during the writing test.
